Aranya Inc. ("Aranya," "we," "us") builds the multicluster operating system that turns any bare metal into custom production-ready clusters in 48 hours, running on clusterdOS, our open-source engine.

This notice explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and what rights you have over it. It covers aranya.tech — people who visit the site, join the waitlist, submit a specification request, or otherwise get in touch.

It does not cover personal information handled through our products under a customer agreement — that is governed by the agreement with that customer and the privacy notice for that service. The analytics and advertising technologies on this website have no access to that information.

We review this notice at least annually and update it when our data practices change.

‍

Information we collect

What you give us. When you join the waitlist we collect your full name, company, and email address. When you submit a specification request we collect your company name and company type, your full name, email address, phone number, and whatever you write in your question. If you email us directly, we have whatever you choose to include.

Collected automatically. IP address and the approximate location derived from it, browser and operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time spent, and the links and buttons you click — recorded in log files and through the technologies listed below.

Spam prevention. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated abuse. The reCAPTCHA script loads on every page of the site, so Google receives your IP address, browser details, and the page you are viewing even on pages without a form; reCAPTCHA itself only activates where a form is present. Google's privacy policy and terms of service apply to this use.

From events. If you share your details with us at a conference or event — for example by having your badge scanned at our booth — we receive that contact information from the event organizer.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data — health, biometrics, race, religion, political opinions — and ask that you not send them to us.

‍

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries and provide information you have asked for
  • provide, maintain, secure, and support our services
  • send marketing and product communications to people who have asked to receive them or with whom we have a business relationship, and let you unsubscribe at any time
  • understand how aranya.tech is used, so we can improve it
  • measure and target our advertising on platforms such as LinkedIn and X
  • meet legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the security of our systems

We use personal information only for the purposes set out above. Where we want to use it for something materially different, we will ask for your consent first.

‍

Cookies and tracking technologies

aranya.tech uses cookies and similar technologies — including pixels and tags placed by third parties — in three categories:

CategoryPurposeProviders
Strictly necessary Site delivery, security, spam prevention on our forms, and remembering your privacy choice. Always active. Webflow, Google reCAPTCHA
Analytics Understanding how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics 4, PostHog
Advertising Measuring the performance of our ads and showing you relevant ads on other platforms. Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag, X (Twitter) pixel

Analytics and advertising technologies are not strictly necessary. They load when you arrive, and you can turn them off at any time — the same way for every visitor, wherever you are. Closing the banner dismisses the banner and nothing more.

To turn them off, use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in our footer and select Opt out of tracking. Your choices below explains what that does.

These providers may set their own cookies and receive your IP address, the pages you viewed, and identifiers that let them recognize you across other sites, under their own privacy policies:

PostHog also records which links, buttons, and form controls you interact with, so we can see how the site is used. It does not record the contents of what you type into form fields.

Some pages also load open-source code libraries — Splide and Finsweet Attributes — from jsDelivr, a public content delivery network. jsDelivr receives your IP address and browser details in order to serve those files. It does not set cookies or track you across sites.

We honor Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser, everywhere we operate. If your browser sends a GPC signal, analytics and advertising technologies do not load at all, and no banner is shown. We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, for which there is no common industry standard.

‍

How we share information

Service providers. We share personal information with vendors who perform functions on our behalf — website hosting and form handling, email, analytics, advertising platforms, workflow automation and internal collaboration tools, and security and compliance tooling. They may use it only to provide services to us, under contracts that require them to protect it. We can provide a current list of these vendors on request from privacy@aranya.tech.

Advertising platforms. Unless you have opted out, information about your visit is shared with Google, LinkedIn, and X so we can measure our campaigns and show ads to people who have visited our site.

Legal and protective disclosures. We may disclose personal information where the law requires it, to enforce our agreements or protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business. We may also share aggregated or de-identified information.

Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. Unless you have opted out, we do share online identifiers with Google, LinkedIn, and X for cross-context behavioral advertising. Under California and several other state privacy laws this counts as "sharing," and in some states as a "sale," whether or not money changes hands.

‍

Your privacy rights

We extend the same rights to every visitor. You may:

  • know what we hold about you and get a copy
  • correct or delete it
  • object to how we use it, including for marketing
  • receive it in a portable format
  • opt out of targeted advertising and of the sale or sharing of your information
  • appeal our decision on your request

To exercise any of these, email privacy@aranya.tech. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and may extend that period once, by up to 45 more days, where the law permits.

You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for proof of authorization and ask you to verify your identity directly. To appeal a decision on your request, reply to our response with "Appeal" in the subject line. If we deny your appeal, you may contact your state attorney general. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

‍

Your choices

Opting out stops us sharing information about your visit with advertising and analytics platforms, and deletes the cookies and local storage we set on this site. It applies to this browser only. Information those companies already hold is not erased — opting out stops further collection through this site.

To opt out, or to turn tracking back on after opting out, use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in our footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, tracking is already off on this site.
‍

‍

Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure. These include encryption in transit, access controls on a least-privilege basis, logging, and vendor security review. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

‍

Data storage and retention

Aranya is based in the United States, and personal information is stored and processed here by us and by our service providers. If you are outside the United States, this means your information is handled in another country. We require vendors who handle personal information on our behalf to protect it under contract.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it:

  • Prospect and marketing contacts — up to 24 months after your last engagement, or sooner if you ask
  • Website analytics and advertising data — up to 14 months in Google Analytics and 7 years in PostHog
  • Advertising data — retained by each advertising platform under its own policies
  • Records we must keep by law — for the period the law requires

When information is no longer needed we delete it or de-identify it.

‍

Children

Our website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

‍

Changes to this notice

We review this notice at least once a year, and whenever we change how we handle personal information. The dates at the top show when it was last updated, and material changes will be flagged on this page before they take effect.

Kube-State-Metrics
13.
What it is

An exporter that generates metrics about the state of Kubernetes objects (deployments, pods, nodes, etc.).

What it does in clusterdOS

While Prometheus scrapes runtime metrics like CPU and memory, Kube-State-Metrics provides a complementary view: how many pods are running, are deployments healthy, are jobs completing? It’s the “inventory report” that feeds into Grafana dashboards.

Vector
14.
What it is

A high-performance, vendor-neutral data pipeline for logs, metrics, and traces.

What it does in clusterdOS

Vector runs as both an Agent (on every node, collecting logs/metrics at the source) and an Aggregator (centralizing and transforming data before sending it to storage). Think of it as the cluster’s “postal service” — it picks up observability data from every machine and delivers it where it needs to go.

Cert-Manager
15.
What it is

A Kubernetes add-on that automates the creation, renewal, and management of TLS certificates.

What it does in clusterdOS

It automatically obtains HTTPS certificates (e.g., from Let’s Encrypt) and renews them before they expire. Without cert-manager, you’d have to manually manage certificates for every service — it’s the “locksmith” that keeps all the cluster’s HTTPS locks up to date.

NVIDIA GPU Operator
16.
What it is

An operator that automates the management of all NVIDIA software components needed to run GPU workloads on Kubernetes.

What it does in clusterdOS

It installs and manages GPU drivers, container runtimes, device plugins, and monitoring tools automatically. Instead of manually configuring each node with GPU drivers, the GPU Operator handles it all — like a “plug and play” system for GPUs in the cluster.

Node Feature Discovery (NFD)
17.
What it is

A Kubernetes add-on that detects hardware features and capabilities on each node (GPUs, CPU flags, storage types, etc.).

What it does in clusterdOS

It automatically labels nodes with their hardware capabilities so the scheduler can place workloads on the right machines. For example, it ensures GPU workloads land on GPU-equipped nodes. The “hardware census taker” for the cluster.

vLLM
18.
What it is

A high-throughput, memory-efficient inference engine for large language models (LLMs).

What it does in clusterdOS

It serves LLM models (like MiniMax-M2) with an OpenAI-compatible API, using advanced techniques like PagedAttention for efficient GPU memory usage. ClusterdOS deploys it as a ready-to-use inference service — users can run their own AI models on-cluster without managing the complexity of model serving.

StackGres
19.
What it is

A full-stack PostgreSQL distribution and operator for Kubernetes.

What it does in clusterdOS

It manages the complete lifecycle of PostgreSQL databases: provisioning, backups, high availability, monitoring, and connection pooling. Instead of manually operating database servers, StackGres handles it — like a “managed database service” but running on your own cluster. Includes TimescaleDB for time-series data by default.

WekaFS
20.
What it is

A CSI (Container Storage Interface) driver for Weka’s high-performance parallel file system.

What it does in clusterdOS

For workloads that need extreme I/O performance (AI training, HPC, large datasets), WekaFS provides a POSIX-compliant file system with much higher throughput than traditional storage. It integrates with Kubernetes via CSI so pods can mount Weka volumes like any other storage. The “sports car” storage option for I/O-intensive workloads.

Metrics Server
21.
What it is

A lightweight, in-cluster component that provides resource usage metrics (CPU and memory) for nodes and pods.

What it does in clusterdOS

It powers Kubernetes features like kubectl top, Horizontal Pod Autoscaling (HPA), and Vertical Pod Autoscaling (VPA). Without it, the cluster can’t automatically scale workloads based on real-time resource usage. The “speedometer” that autoscalers read from.
